Welcome to the PTA fundraiser resource page. Below are fundraising links that are useful resources for PTA groups, PTO groups, PTSO groups and any other Parent Teacher Organizations that have an interest school fundraising. The strength of many Parent Teacher Associations depends their fundraising strategy, so the more your PTA / PTO group knows about fundraising, the better off your group will be.

General PTA Fundraising Guidelines - This resource is from the California PTA website, which provides a great overview of the role fundraising should play in the overall function of the PTA. Some information is specific to California, but most of it applies to PTA groups throughout the country.

Association of Fund-Raising Distributors & Suppliers -
AFRDS is the top fundraising trade organization in the country which holds their member companies to the highest ethical standard. This site has informative fundraising suggestions and guidelines, which is a great resource when researching fundraising companies or fundraising strategies. This site is extremely useful for PTA fundraisers, PTO fundraisers and other parent-teacher groups interested in fundraising.

Fundraising Tax Resource - This website is a resource provided by AFRDS which is a central source for fundraising tax information. Each individual state's tax requirements are featured on this site.
